Die mechanischen Kontrollen des Tonabneh-
mers und der Tonarmfihrung setzen voraus,
dass die Exzentrizitat des Plattentellers
<0,1 mm ist. Ausserdem ist nur ein Hdéhen-
schlag des Plattentellers (Radius 150 mm) von
ah <0,1 mm zulassig.

4.1 Tonabnehmerposition priifen

Zulassige Abweichungen (siehe Fig.
4.1):
AU (r= 50 mm) <0,5 mm
AU (r= 150 mm) < 1,5 mm
Fiir diese Uberpriifung kann die von
STUDER-REVOX konzipierte Einstell-
lehre Nr. 256124 benutzt werden.
4.1 Checking the cartridge position
= Check parallel guiding of the stylus re-
lative to the surface of the platter.
Permissible deviation: as = <<0.3 mm.

4.1 Verification de ta position du phono-
capteur
- Vérifiez le parallélisme du guidage de la
pointe de lecture par rapport a la surface
du plateau. Ecart admissible as <0,3
mm.
- Contrdlez si la pointe de lecture en posi-
tion abaissée se pose exactement sur le
rayon partant du centre du plateau.
Ecarts admissibles (voir fig. 4.1):
aU (r= 50 mm) <0,5 mm
a(r = 150 mm) < 1,5 mm
Effectuez cette vérification en utilisant
de préférence le gabarit no. 256124 spé-
cialement mis au point par STUDER-
REVOX.
4.2 Priifen mit Einstetlehre
Vorab sollte der Tonabnehmer ganz nach rechts
in die Endlage ausgefahren werden; die Tonarm-
fiihrung darf nur in dieser Stellung des Tonab-
nehmers tiber die Einstellehre geschwenkt
werden.
= Tonarmfiihrung nach rechts ausschwen-
ken.
= Gummimatte und Reinigungspinsel ent-
fernen.
= Zentralmotor darf nicht laufen, deshalb
Netzstecker herausziehen.
= Einstellehre im Drehzentrum des Plat-
tenteliers auf-, sowie im Pinselloch ein-
setzen (Fig. 4.2).
4.2 How to use the alignment gauge
Before installing the alignment gauge on the
turntable, move the pick-up carriage to its
right-hand end position (start position) because
the cartridge must be in this end position when
swinging the tonearm’s support back over the
gauge.
- Swivel the tonearm support away from
the chassis by 180°.
- Remove the stylus brush and take the
rubber mat off the platter.
- Disconnect power cord from the electric
outlet to ensure that the platter will not
rotate.
- Place alignment gauge over the platter’s
center pin while at the same time insert-
ing the guide pin on its underside into
the hole of the stylus brush (fig. 4.2).
4.2 Vérifications a l'aide du gabarit
Amenez tout d’abord fe phonocapteur en posi-
tion extréme tout a droite; le guide du bras de
lecture ne doit étre pivoté au-dessus du gabarit
que dans cette position du phonocapteur.
Pivotez le guide du bras de lecture vers
la droite.
- Enlevez le disque de caOutchouc et le
pinceau de nettoyage.
- Le moteur central ne doit pas tourner,
retirez la fiche secteur.
- Placez le gabarit au centre du plateau et
sur le trou du pinceau (fig. 4.2),
