Die Lehre muss auf der Drehachse und
im Pinselloch fest zentriert sein; gege-
benenfalls den Zentrierbolzen lésen, um
Fertigungstoleranzen auszugleichen.
Die beiden folgenden Einstellungen sind in ge-
ringem Masse voneinander abhangig und missen
gegebenenfalls wiederholt werden.
- Den Tonabnehmer auf den beweglichen
Schieber aufsetzen. Die Nade! muss den
Schieber in der Mitte zwischen den
beiden dusseren Risslinien treffen. Bei
neueren Einstellehren befindet sich an
dieser Stelle eine dritte Risslinie. Bei
Fehlwerten muss der Tonabnehmer in-
nerhalb des Spiels seiner Befestigungs-
l6cher eingestel!t werden.
- Den Tonabnehmer auf die inneren Mar-
kierungstinien fahren und absenken. Die
Nadelspitze muss zwischen den beiden
engen Risslinien aufsetzen. Bei Fehiwer-
ten die Winkeleinstellung des Tonarms
mit Hilfe des einstellbaren Rastbolzens
korrigieren.

This guide pin is mounted in an elon-
gated hole and may be moved after
loosening its mounting screw, thereby
making adjustment for possible manu-
facturing tolerances possible. The gauge
must be seated firmly and without any
play whatsoever.
The following adjustments are slightly inter-
dependent and may have to be repeated, there-
fore.
- Lower the stylus onto the moveable
lever. The stylus tip must contact the
lever in the center between the two en-
graved lines on the right-hand side. On
newer alignment gauges, this point is
marked by a third line. If the point of
contact falls outside the specified area,
reposition the cartridge within its
mounting holes.
- Lift the cartridge, then advance it to the
inner marks and lower it again. The
stylus tip must contact the inner mark
between the two closely spaced en-
graved lines. !f this is not the case,
adjust the angular position of the tone-
arm support with the aid of its excentric
indexing pin.
4.3 Corrective measures in case of excessive
error
~ Try a rotational adjustment of the com-
plete tonearm support within the play
permitted by its three mounting screws.
- Rotate the excentric indexing pin (A)
(fig. 4.3).
- Use the cartridge mounting gauge no.
05790 to reconfirm the position of the
stylus and if necessary adjust cartridge
position within the play of its mounting
screws.
4.4 Adjustment of maximum arm lowering
The free vertical movement of the tonearm can
be adjusted with screw (fig. 4.4). In the
lowest position the stylus tip should barely
touch the innermost ridge of the turntable mat.
This can be checked acoustically through a live
audio channel.

Les deux réglages suivants sont interdépendents
et doivent &tre ainsi répétés.
- Faites descendre la pointe de lecture sur
la tige mobile du calibre. La pointe doit
se poser exactement entre les deux re-
péres. La nouvelle version du calibre
comporte un troisiéme trait situé exacte-
ment au milieu. Si la pointe de lecture se
pose pas a la bonne place, on effectuera
une correction par le jeu des vis de fixa-
tion du phonocapteur.
7 Faites avancer le phonocapteur jusqu’
au-dessus des repéres intérieurs et des-
cendez-le. La pointe de lecture doit se
poser entre les deux lignes. Si ce n’‘est
pas le cas, on corrigera l'erreur en pivo-
tant la cheville de butée située sur le
socle du support du bras.
4.3 Mesures a prendre en cas d’anges d’er-
reur plus grands
- Tournez le guide du bras de lecture dans
la limite fixée par les trois trouscle fixa-
tion.
- Tournez le boulon (A) excentrique (fig.
4.3).
_ Contrdlez la position du phonocaoteur a
l'aide du gabarit no. 05790 et ajsstez si
nécessaire.
