2.2 ERROR CODE LIST
A029 ERROR CODE
Condensate blockage
This water heater has a built in neutralizer. If the elec-
trode on this neutralizer detects the water level is full
or cannot detect the water level in this neutralizer the
water heater displays the “ A022 ” error code on the
User Interface.
Diagnostic check items
• External neutralizer.
• Drain line from unit neutralizer.
Turn Power OFF
Remove the drain plug of neutralizer located
bottom of the water heater, and drain the
water in the neutralizer.
Drain some water and reset the drain plug.
And then, turn power ON and operate the
unit.
Remove the drain line connected to the
condensate plug of neutralizer located at
bottom of the water heater, and turn on the
unit.
Unit has a loose connection.
Unit appeared to be operating OK.
Remove and reinsert connector "I" con-
nected the control board.
And then, turn power ON and operate
the unit.
The drain line of the neutralizer has a block-
age.
Replace neutralizer.
Replace control board.
The drain line connected neutralizer has a
blockage.
Please recheck the drain line to remove the
blockage.
