Various Shooting Functions

If the camera fails to focus automatically, you can focus manually
(MF: Manual Focus).
Manual focus enables shooting at a fixed distance.

• In scene mode, manual focus can be used only when [ZOOM MACRO], [SKEW COR
MODE] or [MOVIE] is selected.
• You can also use manual focus to focus on objects within the macro shooting range.

Display the shooting setting menu.

Press the " button to select [FOCUS] and press the $
button.

Press the !" buttons to select
[MF].

Press the MENU/OK button.
• [MF] is displayed on the screen.

Press the " button as required.
• Pressing the " button enlarges the display for easy focusing.
