4 Changing Eco Mode/Checking Energy-Saving Effect Using Eco
Mode [LAMP POWER]
This feature enables you to select two brightness modes of the lamp:
STND. and ECO modes. The lamp life can be extended by turning on the [LAMP POWER].
[LAMP POWER] Description
[STND.] This is the default setting (100% Brightness).
[ECO]
Low lamp power consumption (approx. 80% Brightness).
To turn on the [LAMP POWER], do the following:
1. Press the Eco button on the remote control to display [LAMP POWER] screen.
2. Use the or button to select [ECO].
3. Press the Enter button.
To change from [ECO] to [STND.], Go back to Step 2 and select [STND.]. Repeat Step 3.
NOTE:
• The [LAMP POWER] can be changed by using the menu.
Select [SETUP] → [BASIC] → [LAMP POWER].
• The lamp life remaining and lamp hours used can be checked in [USAGE TIME]. Select [INFO.] →[USAGE TIME].
• [LAMP POWER] is always set to [STND.] for 1 minute immediately after the lamp is turned on. The lamp condition will not be
affected even when [LAMP POWER] is changed.
• After a lapse of 1 minute from when the projector displays a blue, black or logo screen, [LAMP POWER] will automatically switch
to [ECO].
• If the projector is overheated in [STND.] mode, there may be a case where the [LAMP POWER] automatically changes to [ECO]
mode to protect the projector. This is called “Forced ECO Mode”. When the projector is in the Forced Eco Mode, the picture
brightness decreases slightly and the Temp. indicator lights orange. At the same time the Thermometer symbol [
] is displayed
at the bottom right of the screen.
When the projector comes back to normal temperature, the Forced Eco Mode is cancelled and the [LAMP POWER] returns to
[STND.] mode.
2. Press the button.
The area of the magnied image will be moved
3. Press the Magnify (−) button.
Each time the Magnify (−) button is pressed, the image is reduced.
NOTE:
• The image will be enlarged or reduced at the center of the screen.
• Displaying the menu will cancel the current magnification.
