Upper Limit Sensor 2 defective/disconnected
A harness to one of the parts listed above is broken.
PCB defective
Check if the SC occurs by turning the power OFF then ON. If the SC occurs again,
do the following steps. Check if the SC reoccurs by cycling the power after each
step.
To check for any abnormalities in the sensor and motor solenoid, be sure to
perform an input check and output check for them as needed in addition to a
visual check.
1. Load paper again, and check that the paper is loaded correctly.
2. Reinstall the paper feed belt unit.
3. Reconnect the following connector(s).
Lower Limit Sensor
Paper Height Middle Sensor
Paper upper limit sensors 1 and 2
4. Replace the following harness(es).
Lower Limit Sensor
Paper Height Middle Sensor
Paper upper limit sensors 1 and 2
5. Replace the electric parts listed below.
Lower Limit Sensor
Paper Height Middle Sensor
Paper upper limit sensors 1 and 2
6. Replace the following mechanical component(s).
Tray bottom plate
Lift motor
Feeler, etc.
7. Replace the Main Control Board of the LCIT.
