7.1 ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS IN THE MAIN MENU WITH BID
When a BID chip or key is connected, the following battery data can be read out:
DISPLAY OF MAXIMUM CHARGED-IN CAPACITY
Display of the maximum charged-in battery capacity
to date. If the previous value is exceeded during a
charge process, the old value is automatically super-
seded.
DISPLAY OF MAXIMUM DISCHARGED CAPACITY
Display of the maximum discharged battery capacity
to date. If the previous value is exceeded during a
discharge process, the old value is automatically
superseded.
DISPLAY OF CHARGE CYCLES
Display of the battery’s previous charge cycles. At the
end of a charge process the counter is incremented
by 1.
DISPLAY OF A USER-DEFINABLE DATE
Display of the user-defined date on the BID chip or
key (e.g. date of purchase of the battery).
DISPLAY OF MAXIMUM BATTERY VOLTAGE
Maximum battery voltage during a charge or discharge
process.
8. EDITING DATA WITHOUT BID
Use the “EDIT” button to select the “EDIT DATA” menu, then press the “ENTER” button
to select the menu. Use the “+” or “-” buttons or the Select Wheel to display the following
parameters:
