14. Close the Select Module Type dialog box. The New Module dialog
box opens.
Configuring the Encoder
1. Configure the new encoder module.
a. Type the encoder Name.
b. Click an Ethernet Address option. In this example, the Private
Network address is selected.
c. Enter the address of the encoder.
2. Click the Associated Axes tab.
3. Click New Axis. The New Tag dialog box opens.
