SUSTAIN
SWITCH
This switch is located on the far left side
of
the GreatlPedal expression pedal. This switch will
sustain voices playing from the MIDI
ON
GREAT coupler. Press the switch to sustain, release to
stop. Pressing this switch sends a MIDI Sustain Message on the MIDI
ON
GREAT coupler channel.
If
the MIDI
ON
GREAT coupler is on, then pressing the sustain switch will cause a MIDI Sustain
Message to be sent out
of
the corresponding MIDI Channel.

PIPES
All Rodgers 702 instruments are prepared for the Rodgers Principal Chorus pipe package. These
pipes are exquisitely built to Rodgers' exacting standards. This package can be included when the
console is purchased
or
as a future addition.
The Principal Chorus pipe package provides the following Great Manual stops:
Principal 8'
Octave
4'
Super Octave 2'
Mixture IV
PIPES
OFF/ANCILLARY
ON
When a Rodgers 702 is equipped with pipes, the ANTIPHONAL
ON
and MAIN OFF pistons
have a secondary function. This function is activated by holding the SET piston. While the SET pis-
ton is
held
in, the MAIN OFF piston becomes uPIPES OFF" (which when lighted will silence all
of
the pipe stops), and the ANTIPHONAL
ON
piston becomes uANCILLARY
ON"
which when light-
ed
will add electronic equivilent voices to the pipe stops. As soon as the SET piston is released, the
ANTIPHONAL
ON
and MAIN OFF pistons return to their normal function.
Pressing the SET piston at any time will cause these two pistons to display the status
of
their
second pipe function. Both the normal and secondary function
of
these two pistons can be included
in the General Combination settings.
Each time a 702 with pipes is turned on, both the
uANCILLARY ON" and the uPIPES OFF"
function will be turned off, meaning that the pipes will play without electronic voices when the pipe
stops are selected.
