UPDATING INSTRUCTIONS
(Updating to Ver. 2.0x)
Items Required
• Update disk set(#17041495)
• Computer running Windows (floppy-disk drive required)
• System update file (version 2.0x)
• Floppy disks (2HD) x 5
Preparation
1. Format the floppy disks.
2. Download the system update file to the computer running Windows.
3. Double-click the downloaded file.
4. A window for specifying where to expand the data appears. Specify the
destination.
5. Five folders are copied to the specified file-expansion destination.
6. Copy the data in each folder to the root directory of a floppy disk (one
folder to a disk).
The procedure of system software
update
The data is written into the flash memory of the AT-80SL.
You can update the software by using the software update disks “AT-80SL/
90SL UPDATE DISK SET (P/No.17041495)” via internal FDD.
1. Insert the software update disk into the FDD.
2. Turn on the power while the [Rotary On/Off] and [Rotary Sound Fast/
Slow] button are pressed.
3. The following display will appear.

4. Press the [Rec] button.

5. When the above mentioned message is displayed, insert the 2nd Update
disk and press [REC] button
6. Repeat to make data load with the 3rd,4th and 5th Disk as well as the 1st
and 2nd Disk.

Never turn off the power while the update is in progress.
7. When complete to read all the 5 disk, the following message will appear
and the updating is completed.
8. Turn off the power of the AT-80SL.
