Warning notes
Damage to electronic assemblies due to actuating the battery main
switch!
The battery is an important part of the vehicle’s electrical circuit even when
the engine is running. If the vehicle power supply is interrupted at the
battery main switch while the engine is running, power peaks can occur, this
can destroy the electronic equipment of the chassis and superstructure.
Only deactivate the battery main switch while the engine is shut off.
Damage to electronic components due to external charging!
An external, not electronic controlled battery charger can destroy electronic
assemblies in the vehicle during external charging.
To ensure the operational readiness of the vehicle, the battery must be
isolated from the vehicle’s electrical circuit (battery switch off) before
connecting the battery charger. Disable battery main switch.
Danger due to water over flow!
Some materials expand and/or increase their weight when saturated with
water. Certain materials must not come into contact with water due to the
danger of chemical reactions.
In case of danger, immediately stop operation with water.
Material damage due to use of extinguishing agent!
A mixture of dry powder and foam compound concentrate is highly
corrosive and difficult to remove.
Never mix dry powder and foam compound concentrate.
Damage of the vehicle through frozen water!
The water in the water tank can freeze and impair the vehicle’s readiness
for operation. To maintain functionality of the fire-fighting systems at
temperatures below freezing point, follow these steps:
Park the vehicle frost-proofed.
If installed, ensure that the water tank heating system is engaged.
Material damage due to incorrect operation of the foam compound
pump!
The direct injection foam proportioning system does not recognize, if foam
compound is still sucked in.
Make sure, that always enough foam compound is provided.
