6 Operation
6.1 Preparation for startup
CAUTION!
Danger of injury to persons or damage to the vehicle due to failure to
perform a visual check!
Perform the visual checks before driving to make sure that:
Roof turret is in transport position.
Light mast is retracted.
Moveable rapid intervention equipment is locked
Ladder is locked.
Equipment is stowed correctly.
Tires and tire pressures are normal.
All roller shutters are locked.
All shorelines (power, compressed air) are disconnected.
All doors and folding steps are closed.
Indicator lights in the driver’s display have been checked.
It is essential to perform action in the hierarchy to be maintained as de-
scribed!
Obey all instructions and hints in the manufacturers manual before starting
operation.
For operation there must be at least a pressure of 6 bar in the compressed
air system of the vehicle.
With engaged power take off, there is the engine speed aligned and limited
to the maximum Pump speed.
6.2 Electric power supply
Activate electric power supply
► Switch on ignition.
Electric power supply for all consumer is activated.
Deactivate electric power supply
► Switch off ignition.
Electric power supply for all consumer is deactivated.
