6.4 Operation on the pump control panel
6.4.1 Pump operation
WARNING!
Serious injury to persons and material damage due to overload of the
pump system!
Excessive temperature or incorrect pump pressure will lead to serious
injury to persons and material damage along with increased wear on the
pump.
To avoid a rapid temperature rise, operate the pump only with open
outlets.
Monitor all operating parameters.
Observe all warning signals, gauges, measured value gauges and
pilot lamps.
Disengage the pump immediately.
CAUTION!
Danger of hearing damage due to extended presence in the vicinity of
the running pump!
Use hearing protection.
Do not linger in the danger zone.
NOTICE
Damage to the pump due to dry running!
Dry running of the pump will cause friction damage and increased wear of
the pump and pump shaft seal.
Make sure that sufficient water for the pump is available.
Avoid long dry running of the pump (max. 3 minutes).
