4. While Using Lift:
• Avoidexcessiverockingofvehiclewhileonlift.
• Alwaysusesafetystandsasneededforstabilitywhen
removingorinstallingheavycomponents.(engines,
transmissions,etc.)Use(4)safetystands.
• Raisesafetystandstomeetvehicle,donotlowervehicleonto
stands.
• Avoidaccidentaltouchingofexposedexhaustsystemon
raised vehicles. Watch for air hoses and electrical cords
whichmaybetrippedover.
• Wearsafetyglasseswhileworkingundervehicle.
• Nooneshallclimbontovehicleorarmswhenelevated.
5. Before Lowering Lift:
• Removealltoolsorotherobjectsfromliftarea.
• Assurepersonnelarenotinliftarea.
6. To Lower Lift:
• Remainclearofliftandactuate switch to raise lift off of
safety latches.
• Actuate switch to lower lift while keeping feet clear!
7. Unloading:
• Assureliftisfullylowered.
• Removeadaptersfromundervehicleandswingarmstofull
drive-thrupositionbeforemovingvehiclefromliftarea.
• Assureexitareaisclearofobjectsandpersonnelbefore
removingvehiclefromlift.
8. Power Off:
• TurnE-stopswitchto"OFF"positionwhileliftisnotinuse.
