About the version number: this manual is valid for all instruments with firmware version 4.x,
where 4.x can be 4.0, 4.1, etc. (see Function Menu, SYS STATUS). Changes to the last digit of the
version number reflect minor firmware changes that do not affect the manner in which the
instrument should be operated.
Note: both instrument configuration and adjustment of the HygroClip probes require a PC with the
optional ROTRONIC HW3 or HW4 software. Instructions for using the software are not included in
this manual. These instructions are shipped separately on the software CD ROM.
