Relative:Thismethodofuniedvolumecontrolallowseachzonetobeset
toindividualvolumelevelsthatwillretaintheirdierentialvalueswhenthe
group’svolumeisadjusted.Forexample,ifzone1issettoalevelof50,and
zone2issettoalevelof40,whenthegroup’svolumeisincreasedbyavalue
of10,zone1willnowbeatvolumelevel60andzone2willbeatvolumelevel
of50,thuseachzonewillretaintheirrelativevolumeinreferencetoone
another.Thisisthepreferredmethodofvolumeadjustmentwhencreatinga
groupedaudiopresetwheretheperceivedvolumeofsoundwillbebalanced
acrosszoneswhenphysicallymovingfromonetoanotherortokeepthe
volumesofter/louderinadesiredzone.Thissettingcanbeadjustedas
neededwhenagroupisactivetoallowindividualaudiobalancing/adjustment
foreachzoneasneededordesired.
• ZoneVolume:Thissectionwilldierincontentdependingonthenumberof
zonesthatareincludedinthegrouppreset.Eachgroupwillberepresented
herewithavolumesliderandvolumelevel(relative).WhentheZone
VolumeAdjustmentssettingissettoAbsolute,eachzonevolumelevelwill
beunavailableforadjustmentandisonlyaectedbythegroupvolume
sliderinthegroupheaderatthetopofthepreset.WhentheZoneVolume
AdjustmentssettingissettoRelative,eachzone’svolumelevelisadjustable,
andwhenthegroupvolumeslideratthetopofthepresetisadjusted,
eachgroup’svolumewillmoverelativetooneanother.Whenanindividual
zone’svolumeisadjustedbyauser,thischangeinvolumeismemorized
andtherelativelevelwillbechangedforallvolumeadjustmentsthereafter.
Thegroup’svolumelevelthatisdisplayedinthepresetheaderwillbe
representedbythevolumelevelofthelowestzonenumberIDthatispresent
inthegroup.IfazoneissettoDoNotDisturb,itwillnotbeadjustablefrom
thisinterfaceandwillbeunavailable.
