Set the cutting deck to the maximum
height.

Press the blade engage knob to make
sure that the blades do not activate
when turning on the mower.

Insert the start key, and turn it to the ON
position.

Lift the side discharge chute.

NOTE: For mulching conguration,
install the mulch cover. Hook the mulch
cover to the tab on the cutting deck.
Hook the right latch to the hole on the
deck. Hook the left latch to the stud on
the deck.

Lower the side discharge chute.
NOTE: Make sure that the side
discharge chute is properly closed.

Step on the brake pedal and the parking
brake to stop the product.
