engine badly earthed
cutting deck not parallel to the
ground
blades cutting badly
forward speed too high compa-
red to height of grass
collector channel is obstructed
cutting deck full of grass
the blades are imbalanced
blades loose
fixing screws loose
disengage lever in position «B»
(see chap. 4 - n° 13)
sit firmly on seat (if problem
continues, check micro-
switch)
check that grass-catcher or
stone-guard are correctly in
position (if problem conti-
nues, check micro-switch)
Put the key in the «OFF»
position and look for the
cause of the problem:
check connections
recharge battery
contact your Dealer
check battery connections
check engine earth connec-
tion
check tyre pressures
re-align the cutting deck to
the ground
check that blades are fitted
properly
sharpen or replace blades
check the tension of the
belt and the clutch lever
cable
reduce forward speed
and/or raise the cutting
deck
wait for grass to dry
remove the grass-catcher
and empty the collector
channel
clean the cutting deck
balance or replace dama-
ged blades
check that blades are firmly
fitted (note left-hand thread
of right-hand blade)
check and tighten the fixing
screws of engine and frame
put into position «A»
