9.16 Emptying the Coffee
Grounds Drawer
This operation must be
performed with the
machine turned on and/or
in stand-by mode.
The machine will indicate when the coffee grounds drawer
has reached its maximum capacity.
The first warning alerts the user that the coffee grounds
drawer must be emptied, but the machine can still be used
to brew coffee.
The display will show:
If the drawer is not emptied after several brewing cycles,
the machine will stop and the display will show:
In this case, the machine does not allow coffee to be
brewed. In order to brew coffee, the coffee grounds
drawer must be emptied of used coffee.
Remove the coffee grounds drawer and empty out the
coffee grounds in a suitable container.
Only when the display shows:
may the coffee grounds drawer be inserted into the machine.
Having inserted the drawer, the display will show:
The machine is now ready to brew coffee.
