The yogurt program on a bread machine allows you to make homemade
yogurt. It heats the milk and plain yogurt to a specific temperature for
culturing. The yogurt program takes 1 hour 20 minutes. It can be delayed
up to 12 hours by setting the time delay on your bread machine before
starting.
Yogurt Program Recipe
Here's a sample recipe for making yogurt using the yogurt program:
milk
Ingredients:
4 cups whole
1/4 cup plain
yogurt
with active cultures
YOGURT PROGRAM

Select the yogurt program (10),
and start the cycle.

Put the ingredients into the bread
pan in the specified order and close
the lid.
Press MENU and select program 10
(YOGHURT).
Press START/STOP to
MENU COLOR TIME + TIME - SIZE START / STOP
After the cycle is finished, stop
the program and open the lid.

The program will continue and beep
10 times when finished.
Press START/STOP and open the lid.
Unplug the power cord, holding the
protected plug head.
MENU COLOR TIME + TIME - SIZE START / STOP
Remove the pan and
refrigerate it.
3.
Once the program is finished, remove
the pan from the machine and cover
it with a clean kitchen towel.
Refrigerate the pan to cool and
thicken the yogurt for at least 4 hours
or overnight.
After chilling, your homemade yogurt
is ready to enjoy.
