To load magazines into the input door, follow these
instructions:
1. Properly assembled and placed frame/cassettes
inside the magazine are necessary for uninterrupted
embedding operation. Please verify:
a. Check the orientation of cassettes in the
magazines: The top sides should be facing up,
and the angled writing surfaces of the frames
should be toward the magazine cover.
b. Ensure that all frames are parallel – none fallen
or tipped backward.
c. When holding a magazine filled with frames and
viewing from the sides, there should be no gap
between the frames. Any gap found between
frames, can be an indications of not properly
closed cassette lid or cassette is pushed through
the frame. Open the magazine lid and investigate
the causes of the gap and correct if necessary.
Ensure that cassettes are properly inserted in the
frame with lids securely closed.
d. Make sure the magazine retainer can slide one
space above the topmost frame in the magazine.
The retainer is seen in the magazine shown in
Figure 4-F.
e. Ensure that the magazine lid is closed.
2. Touch the LOAD MAGAZINES button. A message
will appear indicating that the system is preparing the
input door to be opened.
3. When the input door is ready to be opened “Okay to
open input door” will appear in the message area,
and a two-minute timer will display at upper right. If
the door is not opened in time, the system will
assume that access is not required and return to the
state it was in prior to the LOAD MAGAZINES
request.
4. Open the input door by turning the knob counter
clockwise (Figure 4-G).
