Why SANUPS UPS doesn't automatically restart after battery exhaustion?
    • W
      Wayne Cole MDAug 18, 2025
Automatic UPS restart will not occur if “UPS Operation Upon Power Recovery” is set to “OFF”. If it's set to “30%”, “50%”, or “80%”, the UPS won't start until the batteries reach the specified charge level. The default setting is “Auto”.

Why does SANUPS A11H UPS switch to battery power frequently?
    • G
      gbrowningAug 21, 2025
Check if the MAIN MCCB on the back panel is set to “ON”. If it’s “OFF” during normal operation, it will trigger the same operation as a utility power source failure. Also, verify that the input voltage and frequency are within the rated limits.

Why does SANUPS A11H output power stop during a power outage?
    • M
      Mark NavarroAug 23, 2025
The battery may be deteriorated, so check the time to replace it. Battery service life depends on the ambient temperature, so earlier replacement might be needed. Also, if there was a power outage within the last 12 hours, the battery level may be low, so charge the UPS sufficiently.

How to fix SANUPS A11H UPS blinking green and red lights with buzzer?
    • J
      John DavisAug 26, 2025
Check that the battery connectors are properly connected. Stop the UPS and firmly connect the battery connectors. After connecting, start the UPS to ensure the buzzer stops and the green light stops blinking. The red light will turn off when the battery charge is at least 25%; otherwise, it remains lit.

What to do if SANUPS A11H has no output power?
    • T
      Tina CrosbyAug 27, 2025
Check that the input wiring is correct. Verify that the input voltage and frequency are within the rated range. Also, ensure that the power button is pressed for at least 1 second for the correct startup.

Why SANUPS A11H doesn't start at scheduled time in power management software?
    • J
      Jennifer VasquezAug 30, 2025
If the power management software has “When power failure recovered, automatically start the UPS” selected with a value between “10 to 90” for the specified value (%), the UPS won't start at the scheduled time if the battery isn't charged to that level. Set the specified value (%) to "0" for scheduled operation.

What to do if SANUPS A11H doesn't switch from bypass to UPS power?
    • M
      Mary LewisSep 1, 2025
Check if Forced Bypass is set to “Inverter”. Also, if “Overload Recovery Operation” is set to “Auto return”, the UPS switches to UPS power every 2.5 seconds, reverting if the overload persists. If set to “Bypass” and the utility power voltage is low with load current below the overload threshold, the UPS may continuously switch between UPS and bypass power.

    Stephanie SullivanSep 3, 2025
What to do if SANUPS A11H UPS output power doesn't stop?
    • K
      Katherine BrennanSep 3, 2025
Ensure that the power button is pressed for at least 1 second to shut down the UPS. If bypass operation was initiated by the forced bypass switch, overload, or failure, the bypass power supply will continue. Check the “UPS Shutdown Operation” setting in the user menu; it might be set to “3 seconds” or “Special operation” instead of the default “1 second”.

How to fix SANUPS UPS serial communication failure with power management software?
    • R
      Robert StevensonSep 6, 2025
Verify that “Interface” in the user setting menu is set to “Workstation,” which is the default. Also, check the “Serial Baud Rate” setting and ensure it matches the setting in the power management software; the default is “9600”.
