Preparing CPA2P.. Models
for Transport
Model CPA2P:
§ Remove the weighing pan
§ Remove the interior draft shield from the chamber:
Use your fingers to raise the draft shield carefully
until it is free
$ Place these parts in the accessory kit
§ Fasten the chamber doors by placing a rubber band
around the door handles.
Model CPA2P-F:
§ Remove the filter pan lid from the chamber
§ Use forceps to remove the filter weighing pan
carefully from the chamber
§ Remove the interior draft shield from the chamber:
Use your fingers to raise the draft shield carefully
until it is free
$ Place these parts either in the accessory kit or in
the original packaging
The balance/scale must be conditioned again any
time it is set up in a new location (see “Installation”
on page 6).

Display Cause Solution
The weight readout Unstable ambient conditions Set up the balance
changes constantly (excessive vibration or draft) in another area
at the place of installation
A foreign object is caught Remove the foreign object
between weighing pan and
balance housing
The weight readout The balance was not calibrated/ Calibrate/adjust the balance
is obviously wrong adjusted before weighing
The balance was not Tare or zero the balance
tared/zeroed defore weighing before weighing
