This symbol highlights a particularly important note in the manual.

INTRODUCTION
GENERAL REMARKS
The refrigerating showcases have been designed to preserve and refrigerate foodstuffs, which are normally perishable at ambient temperature, for
retail. The refrigerating showcases must not be used for other purposes without the express authorization or any necessary structural modications
made by SCAIOLA S.r.l.
The showcases have been designed to ensure the best results provided that all the operating and maintenance instructions and recommendations
given in this manual are complied with.
To obtain the best results SCAIOLA S.r.l. recommends carrying out the maintenance operations regularly to keep the showcase in rst- rate condition.
It is important to train the personnel in charge of the showcase, both as concerns its use and for its maintenance and checking compliance with the
operating procedures and all the safety rules given in this manual.
HOW TO CONSULT THIS MANUAL
This manual has been organized so that the user can nd the necessary information for using and servicing the showcases in a fast and simple
manner. The user will need to read this manual in its entirety, very carefully, and to ensure that all the information it contains has been fully as-
similated. The secondary function of the manual is to be used as reference documentation every time it is necessary to carry out a procedure or
an operation. Therefore, it should always be kept at the disposal of the personnel assigned to the various operations of maintenance and of the
operators so that it can be referred to at any time. Consultation of this manual is made easier by the general table of contents, which allow the
reader to nd the subject of interest immediately. For greater clarity, certain safety symbols have been inserted next to some of the paragraphs,
to highlight their importance and make them easiser for the reader to iden- tify.
