STRIPFLEX LED BAR
Must be replaced by authorised technicians only.
The weighted noise level A of this appliance is less than 70dB(A). The measure- ments were taken 1 metre from the surface of the appliance and at a height
of 1.6 metres from the ground, during operation.
This appliance does not contain refrigerants that can damage the ozone layer. The appliance contains greenhouse-effect uoride gases governed by the
Kyoto protocol.
IDENTIFICATION PLATES
An identication (CE) plate giving the technical data is installed
on the ma- chine in the motor compartment on the base plate.
LIFTING AND TRANSPORTING
UNPACKING AND HANDLING
IMPORTANT!
t is for the user to dispose of the packing and this must be done in compliance with the current regulations in the country.
The showcase can be moved safely because it is equipped with wheels with a braking system and has been designed with a low centre of
gravity, such as to ensure greater stability. Since it is equipped with wheels, the machine can easily be transported by hand, in safe conditions,
without the need for gripping handles.
In addition, on top of the showcase, in a separate packing, there are the plate glass shelves.
DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL
Disconnect the electricity supply from the electric panel. The materials com- prising the showcase essentially consist of: Iron (Fe 37) - Alu-
minium - Copper - Glass - PVC - Methacrylate (PMMA) - Polystyrene (PS) - ABS - Moplen - Nylon (with the addition of approximately 30%
glass bre) - Nylon - Polyeth- ylene - Lubricating oil - Refrigerating gases - Poly- urethane - Electric motors - Electric cables - Wood - Stainless
steel - Polyethylene.
After dismantling the machine, it is compulsory to dispose of the different materials in a manner in compliance with the requirements of the
regula- tions of the country where the machine needs to be eliminated.
IMPORTANT: Each type of material must be disposed of in accordance with current legislation.
Warning: the cooling circuit contains gases that are noxious when present in heavy concentrations.
Do not pierce nor damage the circuit when dismantling.
Do not release gases into the atmosphere.
INSTALLING AND USING THE MACHINE
CONNECTIONS
Electric Wiring
Before making the electrical connection to the line, check that:
The mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage given on the “technical data” plate.
If the appliance has no “technical data” plate it must not be activated. In this case, notify the supplier immediately.
The appliance must be connected to a differential protection switch with rated trip current set to 30mA. Thesocketwithearthcontactusedmust-
beproperlyearthed,withpower capacity 10 Amps.
If earthing is not correct, there is a danger of electrical shock. If in
doubt, have the socket checked by an expert electrician. Make no modications to the standard plug supplied with the machine; if this is not
complied with, it will not be possible to claim the manufacturer’s liability and the right to warranty. If the plug will not go into the socket, do
not use an adapter, have the socket replaced by a qualied electrician.
The plug and socket must never be placed on the ground. All parts conduct- ing power must be protected against splashes of water to avoid
short-cir- cuiting.
A Lockout/Tagout system is required whenever maintenance is performed near a machine that could cause injury due to:
- unexpected start of equipment
- the release of stored energy.
Two situations where a Lockout/Tagout can be very useful:
- when removing or avoiding the use of a guard or other safety device
- when it is necessary to insert a part of the body at a point where it is possible to
remain hooked by the moving machine.
Some activities where you should use the Lockout/Tagout:
- repair of electrical circuits
- cleaning or lubrication of machinery with moving parts
- unlocking of jammed mechanisms.
