User Information
• We advise you avoid opening the doors frequently, limiting this as much as possible, especially on models with temperature below freezing. On
all models with ventilated refrigeration, defrosting is automatic and takes place every 6 hours.
• On the ERGE BT low-temperature model, even though there is automat- ic defrosting, it is advisable to carry out manual defrosting ap-
proximately every 20 days by unplugging it from th mains, taking out the products, and leaving the door open for at least 24 hours.
• With the ERGE/ERGE BT models, take care that the central portion of the shelves where the refrigeration air circulates is kept clear.
• On models with static refrigeration with refrigerating shelves, defrosting is manual and must be done when the layer of ice becomes excessive.
We recommend manual defrosting at least once every ten days. Proceed as follows: unplug from the mains, empty the showcase, keep the door
open, take out the plug in the bottom shelf to let the water drain out.
• Piccolo: This model keeps the temperature variable between +5 and +15°C and on the contrary to the other showcases it cannot reach lower tem-
peratures. It is advised to keep the evaporator defrosted. Defrosting is manual.
• On all models, the water drains into a special tray, to then be vaporized by the system itself.
• With showcases with the evaporator at the bottom, always leave the slots in the pressed shelf clear.
• A positive temperature showcase (above freezing) must be set between +2° and +10°C. The most recommended temperature is from +3 to +5°C.
• A negative temperature showcase (below freezing) must be set between -5 and -20°C. The most recommended temperature is from -18 to -20°C.
• The chocolate models must keep a temperature of +14°C +18°C, with a humidity level of approximately 50%.
• During periods when the showcase is not used, it is advised to un- plug
it from the mains, defrost, clean inside the refrigerated compartment and leave the door slightly open to prevent bad odours from forming. When
putting it back into service, have the showcase operate for at least two hours before putting foodstuffs inside.
