Safety instructions for bench drill machines
Never make warning labels on the power tool
concealed.
Place the power tool on a solid, level surface
and in upright level. If the power tool can slip or
wobble, the insert tool cannot be guided evenly
and safely.
Keep the work surface clean except for the
workpiece to be processed. Sharp-edged drill-

of materials are particularly dangerous. Light metal
dust can burn or explode.
Set the correct speed before starting work. The
speed must be appropriate to the drilling diam-
eter and the material to be drilled. If the speed
is not correctly set, the insert tool can get caught
in the workpiece.
Only guide the tool insert against the work-
piece when it switched on. Otherwise there is a
risk that the insert tool will get caught in the work-
piece and the workpiece will be taken away. This

processed before it has cooled down. The in-
sert tool gets very hot when working.
