7. Before commissioning
• The machine must be securely installed, i.e. bolted
down on a workbench, machine stand or similar.
Use the holes in the machine frame for this.
• Prior to commissioning, all covers and safety devic-
es must be mounted correctly.
• It must be possible for the saw blade to run freely.
• In case of previously machined wood, be aware of
any foreign objects, such as nails or screws, etc.
• Before pressing the on/o󰀨 switch, make sure that the
saw blade is correctly tted, and that moving parts
run smoothly.
• Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
• Only connect the machine to a correctly installed
protective contact socket, with fuse protection of at
least 16A.
8. Attachment and operation
Attention! Remove the mains plug before any
maintenance, modication and assembly work on
the circular saw.
Place all supplied parts on a at surface. Group equal
parts.
Note: If connections are secured with a screw (round
head/or hexagon), hexagonal nuts and washer, the
washer must be placed under the nut.
Insert screws each from outside to inside. Secure con-
nections with nuts on the inside.
Note: During assembly, tighten the nuts and bolts only
to the extent that they cannot fall o󰀨.
If you tighten the nuts and screws fully before nal as-
sembly, it is not possible to complete the assembly.
8.1 Fitting the frame (Fig. 5-7)
1. Screw the four legs (17) to the centre struts (20+21)
using the screws (g) and nuts (h).
mAttention!
The top struts have an elongated hole for fastening
to the table!
2. Now screw the lower struts (18+19) loosely to the
legs using the screws (g) and nuts (h) (Fig. 5).
3. Now plug the rubber feet (22) onto the legs (Fig. 6).
* Operating mode S6 20%: Continuous duty with
intermittent loading (operating time 10 mins). In
order avoid impermissible overheating of the mo-
tor, the motor should be driven for only 20% of the
operating time with the stipulated nominal power
and must then continue to run with no load for the
remaining 80% of the operating time.

Wear hearing protection.
Excessive noise can result in a loss of hearing. Total
vibration values (vector sum of three directions) deter-
mined according to EN 62841.
• The specied noise emission values have been
measured in accordance with a standardised test
procedure and can be used to compare one power
tool with another.
• The specied noise emission values can also be
used for an initial estimation of the exposure.
• Warning:
The noise emission values can vary from the spec-
ied values during the actual use of the power tool,
depending on the type and the manner in which the
power tool is used, and in particular the type of work-
piece being processed..
• Implement measures to protect against noise nui-
sance. In doing so, take into account the complete
working process, including the times when the
power tool is working without load or switched o󰀨.
Suitable measures include regular maintenance and
care of the power tool and the insertion tools, regu-
lar breaks as well as proper planning of the working
process.
