ATTACHING THROTTLE CABLE (CONT)

Position the cable in the shroud channel.
Adjust the throttle stop and lower nut so they
are snug against the shroud and the cable is
taut and the throttle lever is in the disengaged
position.
Disengaged throttle position – rm against top
screw.
Depress the throttle trigger to see the throttle
lever travel to the engaged position. Adjust
the lower, metal nut as needed before nal
tightening. NOTE: Final tightening with a
wrench should only be performed on the metal
nut.

Connect the wire terminations from the right
handle throttle cable to the connections on the
engine.
Replace the air cleaner cover and position the
throttle cable loop as shown.
