Locate the kickstand hardware Locate the UP arrow on the kickstand bracket
and keep the arrow pointing up. Position
the bracket just above the bend of the lower
handles and connect the kickstand with the
bolts. Tighten with 3/8” wrench.

UPPER HANDLE ASSEMBLY

With the kickstand down, the cardboard cradle
can be removed. NOTE: the tiller handles
kit for the XP Tiller has extra hardware not
needed for assembly: two clamps and two tine
retaining pins.
Lay the upper handles on the ground with the
right upper handle on the gas-cap side of the
engine.
Install the handle brace using the supplied
bolts and nuts.
