4.10.2.3 Brake Test During Maintenance
Dynamic Full Brake
Test Upward (test
15)
Expected Test
Result
In this test, the brake stops the empty car in the upward direction under emergency
conditions.
Required Test
Conditions
Car load = 0 % of GQ
Travel speed = 100 % of VKN
Travel direction = Upward
Test Procedure
DANGER
Defective Brakes (on the machine)
Operating an elevator with defective brakes will result in serious injury or death.
If the brakes are found to be defective, put the elevator out of service immediately until
the brakes have been replaced and tested successfully.
No Step
1
On HMI, activate the test mode as follows:
a)
Press "OK". HMI shows [10/__/_0].
b)
Select "Test mode". HMI shows [20/__/__].
c)
Press "OK". HMI shows [20/__/_0].
d)
Activate the test mode. HMI shows [20/__/_1].
The car travels to the control cabinet floor and the door opens.
The door remains open. HMI shows [__/__/- -].
2 On HMI, activate the required test as follows:
a)
Select "Start Full Brake Test Up". HMI shows [__/__/15].
b)
Press "OK". HMI shows [15/__/_1].
The door closes.
The car travels to the bottom floor. The door remains closed.
HMI shows [15/__/_2], indicating "Test ready to run".
