No Step
1
All points with bearings, under the car, on the CW and at the drive, must be
checked for oil losses.
2 Polluted pulleys and traction shafts can be cleaned with DBE® (dibasic esters).
Beware the suspension traction media from being polluted with oil or grease.
3 If necessary clean the STM with a dry or damp cloth. Only use clean water for
STM cleaning. Do not use white spirit or acetone.
No Step
1
Check if the tension of all STMs is approximately equal.
The STM tension can be measured by pressing a hand or thumb onto the
STM.
2 If necessary, adjust the STM tension:
–
Schindler 3100/3300/6300: at the car suspension point by screwing in or
out the hex nut and counter nut on the STM connection assembly.
3 After adjustment, travel five meters down the hoistway and check the STM
tension again.
4 Repeat this procedure until the tension of all STM is approximately equal.
No Step
1
Position the car at the top floor.
2 Activate the pit stop switch JHSG.
3 Check the distance A between the counterweight and the buffer to be 40–
80 mm.
4 Remove one or two distance blocks if the distance A is less than 40 mm.
Deposit the removed distance block(s) in the hoistway (for future re-use).
5 Check that the distance A is now 40–80 mm.
