Do you have a question about the Schlage ALLEGION MT20W and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The Schlage MT20W Enrollment Reader is a multi-technology device designed to simplify the enrollment of smart credentials, including proximity and smart cards. It is powered via a USB cable, which can be connected to a computer's USB port or a powered USB plug. The reader utilizes a Wi-Fi connection or a USB data share connection for specific scenarios, such as enrolling no-tour credentials.

Function Description:

The primary function of the MT20W is to facilitate the enrollment of credentials into an access control system, particularly for "no-tour" functionality. This means that smart credentials can be assigned or registered to a user without requiring a physical visit to the lock or immediate access. The next time the newly registered smart credential is presented to a supported lock, the user's access to that lock is updated. This streamlines the credential management process, especially for large-scale deployments or remote locations.

The MT20W supports no-tour functionality with compatible locks using Schlage MIFARE Classic or MIFARE DESFire EV1 credentials. It is compatible with Schlage smart credentials (MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1) and Schlage mobile credentials. It also supports most proximity credentials up to 37 bits.

    2. Select "User" credential and click "Add Credential."
    3. Place the credential on the reader.
