Verify door dimensions, hole sizes, and edge preparation for correct fitment.
Measure door edge and adjust deadbolt length if necessary for proper operation.
Select and attach the correct faceplate for the door edge, if required.
Insert the deadbolt mechanism into the door edge and secure it.
Mount the external keypad and touchscreen unit onto the door.
Attach the internal thumbturn assembly to the door and route wiring.
Connect the battery cable and install the battery into the unit.
