6.5 Lifting loads
The following operating steps must be checked by a qualified mechanic before the initial start of
operations, and by the operating personnel on a daily basis. Visible faults must be completely rectified
before beginning work.
The hovering position without load (section 5.6.1.) must be set before the start of operations.
Risk from uncontrolled gripper movements
This can result in serious injury.
► The workpiece must be loose.
► The workpiece must not adhere to anything.
► The workpiece must not be tilted.
► Max. lift capacity of the system must not be exceeded.
If the twist grip or operator handle is positioned in the “lift” position for a
prolonged period, the blower can overheat and become damaged.
Do not position the twist grip/operator handle in the “lift” position for
longer than 90 seconds --> this will void the warranty!
► Set the hovering position with and without a load (see section 5.6).
If the workpiece is not lifted by the center of gravity of the load, the lift
tube will become damaged.
► Ensure that the workpiece is lifted by the center of gravity of the load.
