Suction plates or lateral cross arms can be switched on and off on lifting
devices with suction plates which can be deactivated. This is done using
valves on the vacuum distributor of the longitudinal cross arm.
Switching off suction plates reduces the load bearing capacity of the load
holder by the load bearing capacity of the suction plates switched off
The suction plates may only be switched on and off when there is no load on
the lifting device.
Unused suction plates must be switched off.
