7.4 Servicing the gripper
WARNING
Risk of injury due to spring forces!
In case of the variant with "gripping force maintenance", the
cover may be ejected due to high spring forces.
• Carefully disassemble the product.
Ø Clean all parts thoroughly and check for damage and wear.
Ø Oil or grease bare external steel parts.
Ø Disassemble the gripper.
Ø Treat all greased areas with lubricant.Lubricants/Lubrication

Ø Replace all wear parts / seals.– Position of the wearing parts,

Ø Assemble the gripper in reverse order. While assembling, pay
attention to the following:
Unless otherwise specified, secure all screws and nuts with Loc-
tite no. 243 and tighten with the appropriate tightening torque.
