With the smallest possible actuating pressure (clamping cylinder),
the base jaws should move evenly. This method only provides a
limited indication and does not replace the measurement of the
clamping force.
If the clamping force has dropped too far or if the base jaws and
clamping piston no longer move properly, the chuck has to be dis-
assembled, cleaned, and relubricated.
Only original SCHUNK spare parts may be used.
