7-14. AC CES SORY POWER
PLUG
A 28 volt, 10 amp 2-pin ac ces sory power plug is in stalled be low the
left side of the in stru ment panel in later se rial num ber air craft. This
plug is in stalled for use with test equip ment (VIBREX, CHAD-
WICK, ETC.). A 10 amp cir cuit breaker is in stalled for ward of the
ac ces sory plug to pro tect the elec tri cal sys tem.
1. In stall ac ces sory equip ment in cabin. At tach ac ces sory equip -
ment’s 2-pin con nec tor to ac ces sory power plug with “hot” lead
for ward (ref er ence plac ard on in stru ment panel con sole be low
plug).
CAU TION
Equip ment at tached to the ac ces sory power plug
must be se cured to pre vent in ter fer ence with the
flight con trols.
2. Pull cir cuit breaker to re move power from ac ces sory equip ment.
7-15. GROUND HAN DLING WHEELS
Two types of ground han dling wheels are avail able for the he li cop -
ter.

Land ing Gear Sta bi lizer (Step).
These wheel as sem blies are stowed on the right side of the he li cop ter
in brack ets lo cated on the top side of the land ing gear sta bi lizer
(step). The shafts of the wheel as sem blies are in serted into the in -
board side of the brack ets and se cured in place with re tain ing pins.
For ground han dling, re lease the re tain ing pins and re move the wheel
as sem blies from the step. Have one per son push down on the
tailboom while an other per son lifts the toe of the skid. In sert the
steel shaft of the wheel as sem bly in the bush ing lo cated in the skid
tube and se cure in place with the re tain ing pin. Be fore Flight, re -
move and stow the ground han dling wheels in re verse or der of in stal -
la tion. Do Not Op er ate the he li cop ter with the ground han dling
wheels in stalled in the skid tubes.
