Note: The design of the top plate of the UMS will differ depending on the
microscope that will be mounted on it.
When used with Scientifica’s Slicescope the UMS is a simple rectangle shape, when used
with other manufacturer’s microscope such as Olympus or Nikon it will feature a “winged” top
plate to accommodate the footprint of the microscope (See figure A).
