What to do if MT compressor of SCM Heat Pump does not start?
    • S
      Sharon CookAug 5, 2025
If the MT compressor of your SCM Heat Pump isn't starting, there could be several reasons: * A blocking alarm might be active. Check for any active alarms and try resetting them. * The unit's regulation status might be OFF. Ensure the unit is switched ON. * Most of the evaporators might be undergoing defrosting. Verify the Defrost setting on mask FBB15, but only if evaporator controllers connect to the CDU via RS485. * It might be necessary to force the download settings from the Hecu Controller to the PSD (power+ driver).

How to troubleshoot missing communication in SCM Heat Pump?
    • T
      Tony FosterAug 12, 2025
To troubleshoot missing communication in your SCM Heat Pump, consider the following: * Check the PSD power supply to ensure it is powered (power+/Inverter)/ HECU controller and PSD. * Verify the RS485 wiring between the HECU and PSD. * Confirm the serial address set in the PSD using the dip switch configuration.

Why is there missing communication between Hecu and evaporators in my SCM CUBO2 SMART?
    • C
      Christopher MartinAug 19, 2025
Missing communication between the Hecu and evaporators in your SCM Heat Pump can occur due to: * Incorrect RS485 wiring/connection between the Hecu and evaporators. Check these connections. * An incorrect serial address setting in the evaporator controller (MPXPRO/ULTRACELLA). Verify the serial address.

How to fix probes alarm or wrong connection in SCM CUBO2 SMART Heat Pump?
    • C
      christianbergerAug 28, 2025
To resolve probe alarms or wrong connections in your SCM Heat Pump: * Check the probe connection and reading. * Verify the probe configuration, including the range (for pressure probes), the type of probe, and wirings. * Ensure correct probe placement and range (min and max). * Compare the value read by the probe with the value read by a manometer. * If the issue persists, the probe might be broken.
