Daily maintenance shall be made before starting the engine:
Check oil level;
Check coolant level;
Check drive belt;
Check cooling fan;
Remove water and sediment in the fuel-water separator of the fuel filter;
Visually check leakage;
Check the engine outside for leakage;
Check smoke color;
Check whether the failure indicator lamp is normal.
4.3.1 Checking air filter service indicator
Make a regular check if the air filter is equipped with service
indicator; replace air filter element if the red mark has gone up
to the indicating port. Refer to 5.4.2 to replacement procedure.
The button switch at the top of the service indicator will
be reset after replacement of the air filter element.
Warning: It’s prohibited to start the engine without air
filter. Intake air must be filtered to prevent dust and dirt from
entering the diesel engine in order to avoid early wear.
