4.3.8 Check cooling fan
It is required to visually check the fan to see if there are some
cracks in vanes, rivets loosing, vanes loosing or being bent and
other defects. Make sure reliable installation of the fan. Tighten
the bolts or replace the damaged fan if necessary.
Warning: Damaged fan vanes can result in injury
accidents. It’s prohibited to drag or move the fan, even use
the fan to rotate the engine as well.
4.3.9 Remove water and sediment in fuel-water separator
Remove water and sediment in the fuel-water separator of the fuel
filter every day.
Open the bottom valve of the fuel-water separator of the fuel filter to
remove water and sediment until clean fuel flows out, and then
close the valve fully.
The primary fuel filter is used for the engine has a function of fuel
and water separation. When water in the water container of the
primary fuel filter reaches a certain level, the water-level sensor will
send a signal to the water-level indicator light, reminding driver or operator to drain the water timely. Loosen the water
drain valve at the bottom of the filter about three and half turns to drain the water and sediment until clean fuel
outflows. Then tighten the valve until you feel suitable. Don’t over-tighten it.
4.4 Maintenance content every 250 hours or 3 months
Following maintenance items shall be completed in addition to the daily maintenance items:
Change oil and oil filter;
Replacement of fuel filter (including primary filter)
Priming fuel system
Check air intake system;
Check intercooler and its lines;
Check the wiring harness.
