4.1 Physical features
The figure below provides an illustrated reference to the main parts of the PT3 transducer device.

Note:
A terminal will be marked as ‘NCwhen it is not available for use. NC refers to a non-connected terminal.
4.2 Communication ports (RS-485 and USB)
The PT3 is equipped with a micro USB port. In addition the MFT variant has an RS-485 port.
The USB point-to point connection port is used for configuring the PT3 transducer in the field. For details on
configuration refer section 6.
The RS485 communication port is used for reading instantaneous parameters using the MODBUS RTU
protocol. For details refer section 9.
