Line Recognition Service
This service allows you to display or hide your
own number when making a call.
PIN
It is a security code that protects the handheld
against unauthorized access. The PIN is
provided with the SIM card by the service
provider. The PIN can comprise 4 to 8 digits,
and can be changed as needed.
PUK
It is the password for unlocking the SIM card
when you enter an incorrect PIN three
consecutive times. The PUK consists of 8 digits,
and is provided with the SIM card by the
service provider.
Roaming
It is a service that allows you to use the
handheld in other networks than your home
network, for example when you are traveling.
SIM Card
This identification card with a crystal chip
contains all information (including network,
memory, and subscriber data) required to
operate a handheld.
Common SMS
It is a network service that involves sending
and receiving information to and from other
users. A written or received message (with
fewer than 160 characters) can be displayed,
received, edited, or sent.
Cell Broadcast
The network service provider sends broadcast
information, such as traffic information and
weather forecast, to handhelds within network
coverage. The information is sent in the form of
text messages to your handheld.
Voicemail
If you have subscribed to the voicemail service,
callers may leave a message when you cannot
answer a call. To call your voicemail number,
hold the number key 1 on the standby interface.
