a) if near the number of key there is an empty space (e.g.: [2]: ---), it is possible to access the
personal address book and select a name from it, to save press menu/enter or to cancel
press ESC or wait until the timer elapses.
b) if near the number of key there is a name, it is possible to CHANGE or CANCEL it, in both
cases return to point a).
Warning!
The number will be recalled by pressing the button for about 1.5 seconds; when first the
name associated with the phone number appears on the screen, you can leave the key to giving up
the selection, or keep it pressed to start the call.
8.7.2. Programming keys
1. press menu/enter button
2. scroll the menu up to FUNCTION KEYS
3. press menu/enter
4. scroll the menu up to PROGRAMMING KEYS
5. press menu/enter
6. select Telephone to program the keys of basic phone and confirm with menu/enter (DSS1
option gives you the possibility to program the DSS module keys, present only if physically
installed)
7. select a programmable key, without asterisk (e.g. “[1]: ” ), you’ll be able to change and delete it
8. press menu/enter
9. scroll up and down arrows and select Local tel.book, Free sequence(*) or Services(**)
10. confirm with menu/enter and select a contact from local directory, a sequence of
numbers(*) or program a service(**) from the list
11. to return to the main menu, press ESC more times or wait until the timer elapses
(*) example of sequence to activate/deactivate a call forward:
•select FREE SEQUENCE
• dial the “Call forwarding prefix" + "destination number" + “#”
• confirm with menu/enter
• give a name to the sequence and it will be displayed on the screen
• confirm with menu/enter
• exit the menu by pressing ESC .
Note: you may not enter the destination number + "#", user can select them on the request of the service.
(**) example of programming a call forward:
•select SERVICE
• scroll the menu up to “Forward all calls”
• confirm with menu/enter
• to return to the main menu, press ESC more times or wait until the timer elapses
• press the key just programmed to “Forward all calls” and complete the configuration as
described in the ”Forwarding calls to another number” paragraph.
