H. Test of the L/R boom knob of the Cable
NOTE:
THIS PROCEDURE IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO HEADSETS WITH CABLES -BV-K, -BV-CP, -V-RP,
-V-CP, -V-KP, -BV-KP AND -V-KX.
ACTION RESULT
(1) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator (2, Table 1001) to ON.
(2) Set the sine wave generator to 1 kHz.
(3) Set the mono/stereo switch to MONO.
(4) Connect 1 kHz to the audio hi and the
audio lo of the related pins
(Ref. Fig. 1004).
(5) Put on the headset and put the
microphone arm in position on your
left side.
(6) Set the boom knob with a ballpen to L for
the left/microphone side.
(7) Move the left volume control from low to
high and back.
You can hear, that the volume changes in the
microphone side capsule on your left side only.
(8) Set the microphone knob with a ballpen
to R for the right side.
(9) Move the left volume control from low to
high and back.
You can hear, that the volume changes in the
non microphone side capsule / your right side.
(10) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator to OFF.
(11) Remove the test cables.
