I. Test of the NoiseGard on/off switch
NOTE:
REFER TO FIG. 1002.

For aircraft-powered Headsets
:
ACTION RESULT
(1) Connect the test cable of the power
supply (1, Table 1001) to the related
NoiseGard
pins of the Cable (Ref. Fig.
1004). Only applicable to -B-KP, -BV-KP,
-BV-CP, -B-CP, -V-RP, -V-CP, -V-KP, -V-KX,
-CP, -NP, -KP. Make sure that the
NoiseGard
voltage from the power
supply is between 12 V DC and 35 V DC.
Or put two new fully charged batteries
into the control unit. Only applicable to
-BV-KP, -BV-K, -B-K, -B-KP, -BV-CP, -B-CP.
(2) Put on the headset.
(3) Set the NoiseGard
switch to ON. You can hear clearly that the lower frequency
environmental noises are decreased.
You cannot hear low frequency humming or
high frequency tweeting.
(4) Disconnect the power supply
(1, Table 1001) after you did the test.
ACTION RESULT
(1) Only applicable to -B-KP, -BV-KP, -BV-CP,
-B-CP, -V-RP, -V-CP, -V-KP, -V-KX,
-CP, -NP, -KP. Make sure that the
NoiseGard
voltage from the power
supply is between 12 V DC to 35 V DC.
Connect the test cable of the power
supply (1, Table 1001) to the related
NoiseGard
pins of the Cable (Ref. Fig.
1004).
(2) Supply a voltage of between 12 to
35 V DC.
The LED comes on yellow.
(3) Remove the test cables.
