Selecting and replacing the ear pads
You can choose between:
Ear pads made of silicone, large (pre-
mounted upon delivery),
for easy use due to uncomplicated align-
ment in the ears.
Easy to clean and long lasting even with intensive use.
Ear pads made of silicone, small,
smaller and flatter than the large silicone
ear pads, for easy use and alignment in
smaller ears.
Easy to clean and long lasting even with intensive use.
Ear pads made of memory foam
for a comfortable, ambient noise-attenuat-
ing fit of the receiver in the ears.
With intensive use, the memory effect of
the foam wears off after a few months, causing the pres
-
sure relief to deteriorate. In this case, replace the ear pads
with new ones.
Ear pads made of open foam
for pressure-sensitive ears and a light-
weight wearing comfort, even over long
periods of use.
Due to the open foam, the hygienic durability is limited. Clean
the ear pads regularly (see page
30).
To replace the ear pads:
1 Reach behind the ear pads with your fingernails so that you
can carefully detach the ear pads from the stethoset
receiver.
2 Put the two other/new ear pads on the stethoset receiver.
The rubber ring of the ear pads locks into place on the ste-
thoset receiver.
Spare ear pads in different materials and forms are avail-
able from your Sonova Consumer Hearing partner.
