C. Document tray unit
1) Release the shaft on the front side.
2) Remove the tray unit.
■ Note for reassembly
Use care so that the paper exit Mylar in not pinched between the
paper exit roller and the follower roller.
D. Upper door open/close sensor
1) Disconnect one connector.
2) Remove the upper door open/close sensor.
E. Reverse clutch, paper exit roller
(1) Reverse clutch removal
1) Disconnect one connector.
2) Remove the resin E-ring.
3) Remove the reverse clutch.
■ Note for reassembly
Attach the stopper of the reverse clutch along with the rib on the
motor mounting plate.
(2) Paper exit roller removal
1) Remove the E-ring.
2) Slide the bearing.
3) Remove the paper exit roller.
4) Remove the E-ring.
5) Remove the bearing.
F. Drive unit
(1) Transport unit removal
1) Disconnect four connectors.
2) Remove the harness from the clamp.
3) Remove the snap band.
4) Remove one screw.
5) Remove the earth wire.
6) Remove one screw.
7) Disconnect the RSPF harness.
